WE ARE
FISH OF PROVIDENCE
II Corinthians 5:17, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

We are a fellowship of Christian healthcare workers that seek to encourage each other in the workplace.
Our identity is in Christ. We come from many backgrounds and histories but for each of us it was a real encounter with Jesus Christ that is now the essence of who we are and the basis of our behavior. It overshadows obvious differences within our fellowship. We are most of all His. We exercise gratitude and grace because we are His.We love the Bible because we find Him in the pages of both the Old and the New Testament. We gather because we find Him in our fellowship.
Ephesians 2:8-10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
We have placed our faith in Jesus and His work on the cross for our salvation from our sin. We are grateful people. This gift of salvation is offered to everyone. We do not condemn those around us but invite all to come and see the Jesus of the Bible. That invitation comes with a warning.Jesus seeks full lordship and has the authority to ask it of us. Jesus does not leave people alone. His teachings challenge, offend, humble and lead to life changes. At the same time, he stands as a forgiving friend in our failures. He is beside us, within us, strengthening us as we seek to be obedient. We live abundant lives because of Him.
Through God’s providence our identity is in Christ. We are fish of providence.
WHAT WE
BELIEVE
Revelations 1:8, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
All caregivers are welcome. Our focus is on the One we have in common. We seek to bring attention to Jesus Christ as fully described in the Bible.
The following statement outlines the shared foundational, essential Christian beliefs that we hold tightly:
We believe in the divine inspiration and final authority of the Bible as the Word of God.
We believe in the eternal God revealed in Holy Scripture as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the unique Deity of Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, whose death and resurrection provide by grace through faith the only means of salvation from our transgressions, our sins.
We believe in the transforming presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
OUR
MISSION
Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.
The mission offish of providence is to support the active faith of our members.
We inspire members to know Jesus Christ better each day and to follow His example as a servant.
We seek God’s providence as we pray for the places we work, the people we work with and the patients we serve. We hold each other up in prayer.
We learn from each other as we study the Word of God together.
We seek to understand and pray for the global movement of the good news of Jesus Christ and pray for Christians around the world who suffer persecution due to their faith.
We provide a forum to inform, encourage, equip, and inspire our members through fellowship and the sharing of talents and resources.
